Gary Davis, Sam Chatmon, Son House, Mississippi John Hurt, ecc...), forgiando ben presto uno stile personalissimo che lo porta a suonare in tutta Italia, sia in locali del circuito blues che in manifestazioni in piazza. Grande conoscitore del genere Country Blues, viene invitato a partecipare ai piu' importanti festival nazionali dedicati a questo genere di musica (Sestri Levante, Rovigo Delta Blues, Trescore in blues, Rapperswill Blues'n'Jazz, Saint Gallen, Glarus Open Air, Lugano Blues to Bop, Lario Blues and Jazz) riscuotendo ovunque un grande successo di pubblico e di critica. Con Beppe "Harmonica Slim" Semeraro forma i BLUE STEAM DUO proponendo un repertorio che attinge dalla tradizione Country Blues degli anni '20 e '30 con particolare attenzione verso la ricerca del "suono vintage" rigorosamente acustico, dal valore di documento per un genere in via di estinzione. Partecipa alle session per il disco ''Manicomi'' del gruppo ''De Sfroos'' e nel 2003 partecipa a numerosi concerti del Davide Van De Sfroos Tour.Andrea Quaglia. Basso. Impegnato nel circuito blues milanese. Tra le più recenti collaborazioni quelle con Louisiana Red, Aida Cooper e Ronnie Jones. Collabora con l'orchestra classica Esagramma con cui si esibisce regolarmente nei più importanti teatri italiani, inoltre fa parte del Paese delle mille danze, che propongono un repertorio di danze popolari tradizionali.Massimo Bertagna. Batteria. Drumming potente e raffinato, da vent'anni nel circuito professionista e' anche il piu' richiesto batterista blues italiano. Gia' al fianco di Nick Beccatini, John Primer, Phil Guy, Johnny Copeland, Lurrie Bell, Arthur Miles, Peaches, Giancarlo Crea, Tino Gonzales. E' stato in tour negli USA al seguito di Maurice Vaughn, con cui si e' esibito anche alla Casa Bianca. He grew up musically in the second half of the seventies listening to the records of the great black blues guitar players of the '20 and '30 like Blind Blake, Rev. Gary Davis,Mississipi John Hurt etc.and even to the great white finger-pickers like Doc Watson and Merle Travis. After years of practicing and brief stints with cover bands of sixties rock'n'roll and early seventies folky stuff and bluegrass he starts to build up his own style of country-blues getting deeply into the original sound of the early country-blues recordings. During the last fifteen years he's been invited to play in many blues festivals in Italy and all over Europe in his acoustic traditional version or with the electric blues band that he co-founded with Marco"Python"Fecchio. With Beppe"Harmonica Slim" he founded the Blue Steam an acoustic duo deeply rooted in the old time sounds but with an eye even in the modern acoustic sounds of the blues. They have recorded two cd's together "Stories we can tell" in 2001 and "Life lines" in 2004 building up a strong reputation especially in the blues festivals all over Europe. Between the two cd's mentioned before he has recorded an all-acoustic solo album of rags and blues called "These blues won't let me rest"(2003) doing guest-appearences in other musicians' albums and a lead guitar player role in a rockabilly band (Dice and the Gamblers). After years of guitar-playing in some majors blues and rock'n'roll bands in the Milano area he forms his own band "Python Lee Jackson trio" performing almost constantly in the clubs around town with a well-received appearence with Johnny Lang at the Milano Blues Festival in 1997. In 2003 after recording an album with Davide Van De Sfroos he follows him on tour as lead-guitar player in a three months tour all over Italy and Europe....
